You are a particle. All you have to do is move a strange way in order to hit platforms having the same color as you (your energy amount will increase), and avoid other ones (or you will lose energy). When your energy level is too low, you die.
In fact, you won't really die: only the particle you control dies. And even this particle doesn't exactly die because 1) is it only a matter of bits 2) it will be living again as soon as the next round will begin.
You have to manage to be the last particle alive of each round from 2-6 players: you will get points for that, and if you have enough points, you will win the whole match, which is most certainly what you ought to do.
Le sPin is a project for the 2003 segaXtreme developement contest.

Le Pin is a symbolic multiplayer game for the sega saturn, at a very early developement stage. This is the story of some color squares dropping triangular bombs in order to kill eachother
Plug as many pads you can. Press start to make a player live. You can now move. Test pressing the left button while you're near a wall: it will make you go to the other side.
If some other players are in the game, try to hit them. Press C to drop a bomb. The bomb is harmless for a few seconds, and then begins to rotate more fastly, meaning that it explodes. Don't stay in the way. You've got 100 life point at the begining; staying near a bomb causes you to lose some. Finally you are dead (if you are not, you can press start to quit when you're tired). You drift in limbo and disapear. Play again by pressing start. You can use other keys for other actions, espacially if you like confusing rotations and zooms.

What you see on the screenshot is only an old prototype of the stéphano karate maitre's human model. In action, these bodies seem to fall, rotating on themselves, then disapear in the infinite (z = 500); and repeat the movement. The final game is supposed to be less poetical, as I will add some fighting capabilities to the players. You may discover by yourself some controls over what happens

This is Djidjo's project for the segaXtreme developement contest. Developpement has just begun.
If you prefere using a cdrom to test the game, you should consider using a cdrw instead of a cdr. Since the game is in a playable state, but with very little things to do, you may consider it not to be worth the blank cd price. In order to enable cdrw reading, you'll have to open your saturn and make some strange secret things inside with a screwdriver, but it works fine (I use it, myself). See here
If you feel like compiling the programs, download the GNU C compiler as well as the rest of the toolchain from Antime's feeble Sega Saturn page
You should go to SegaXtreme, section "message board", then "developer central" and ask your question. My nickname down there is vreuzon.
